What is jet plasma? Jet plasma is the most advanced plasma technology used to brighten and tighten skin, shrink pores and promote high levels of collagen regeneration. The jet plasma device was designed with jet and cold Plasma for best results using a strong low temperature atmospheric plasma temperature on the surface of the skin. treatment of hyperpigmentation. Note: after treatment the skin channels are open so it’s Jet Plasma is used for non-surgical facial treatments, acne treatments, anti-inflammation, skin whitening and extremely beneficial to use products that will further improve the skin as they will penetrate deep below the epidermis which otherwise would not be possible without needle injection. Please apply product after care treatment. The tip of the Jet Plasma is a built- in circuit board that could ruin the tip of the device if used with product, alcohol, or water.

Absorption: plasma induces the skin absorption rate by temporarily shrinking the skin cells allowing active ingredients to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin dermis without the use of injections.

Anti-pigmentation and lightning jet plasma has an anti-pigmentation effect on the skin by suppressing melanin production. Melanin is the pigment in your skin that gives us our color and can form dark patches hyperpigmentation or dark marks from acne. Along with suppressing melanin, the plasma used within the treatment increases the absorption, and therefore the overall effect of the lightning products that we use after this treatment will help clients that have hyperpigmentation.

Sterilization jet plasma is extremely effective for treating acne. The plasma technology destroys the bacteria

(That’s what causes the problem), it sterilizes the skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect that reduces sebum oil production by 25%. The jet plasma can also be utilized to sterilize the skin prior to spot Plasma.

Skin rejuvenation and Tightening Jet Plasma increases collagen production and cellular regeneration making it an incredible non-invasive skin tightening treatment. Studies have shown a 14.8% increase in skin density after a single treatment. This really is a very advanced plasma treatment with an extremely fast procedure time and no recovery time. This can be a stand alone treatment, combined with medical grade products, stem cells or aesthetic procedures.

Plasma Fibroblast is a revolutionary new medical procedure is taking the world by storm.

Clients are benefiting from amazing results without the need of surgery. This minimizes risks to clients’ skin and the downtime following treatment is much less than it is with surgery. The results are immediate but continue to get better as the skin heals and more collagen is formed so you get the best results after 12 weeks, although a 2nd treatment can be carried out after 8 weeks. In very simple terms, a handheld device is used to fire a high energy ion gas at the skin to create something that we call ‘controlled wounding’. This causes the skin to begin a series of healing processes, during which new collagen and elastin fibers are stimulated and produced. Collagen and elastin are classed as the scaffolding and building blocks for the skin. As we age, the production of elastin and collagen slows down causing the scaffolding to collapse. This, in turn, brings about wrinkles, fine lines and sagging of the skin.

The Plasma Treatment can be used to remove skin lesions, excess skin, fine lines and wrinkles and improve scar tissue. It can be used on any part of the body, including the stomach and hands. It is recommended for Non-surgical blepharoplasty (eye-lid lifting) treatment to achieve the optimum results. This is all discussed at consultation.

The area to be treated is numbed before treatment takes place so there is minimal to no pain. Most areas can be treated within 30 minutes. Because this is a medical treatment, clients need to be aware that there is some downtime associated with the healing process. Everyone is different but generally there is swelling, crusting and general tightness which can be a bit tender for about 5 days. We do not advise using makeup to conceal this as applying anything to the skin can hinder the healing process and could cause an infection. With this in mind, it is advisable for clients to possibly book a few days off work. If you are interested in having this procedure, we strongly advise that you book for a consultation with us to allow us to discuss a treatment plan with We use a medical grade, sterile, single use plasma probe and pin-point accurate technology to deliver guaranteed results. Depending on the condition of the area being treated, it is sometimes necessary to have more than one you.

This allows us to check your suitability for the treatment and ensure that your expectations can be met before you commit. Please note, this treatment can only be carried out on anyone with a white skin without a suntan. Skins darker than a Mediterranean type run the risk of hyperpigmentation and are therefore not suitable for this procedure.

How does the plasma treatment work?

There are 4 states of matter.

Solid, liquid, gas and plasma. Plasma energy is created when a gas passes through an electromagnetic field to create ionised gas particles in the air between the device tip and the skin.
The tiny holes created in the skin with the plasma pen turn solids into a gas. Therefore, the plasma energy turns the skin to a gaseous state. This process is called sublimation.
When the skin is treated via sublimation, the elastic fibres shrink. This tightens and retracts the skin. The results of this treatment are similar to those of surgery but without the scarring or lengthy downtime.
It is important to note that the plasma treatment does not damage the surrounding skin. What conditions can be treated with the plasma pen?

The Plasma Pen can effectively tighten loose upper eyelid skin, can treat under eye bags and wrinkles, as well as improve overall skin texture and elasticity.
The Plasma Pen can also be used for:  Facelift and Necklift. It is a non-surgical method of skin tightening to lift and rejuvenate loose and sagging skin – therefore making it a great option for the face and neck

  • Removing smoker’s lines and wrinkles around the mouth

  • Removing moles (flat or raised), keloid scars, warts, and fibromas

  • Treating pigmentation and sunspots to reduce their appearance

  • Post-surgery scars

  • Acne scars

  • Reducing the appearance of stretch marks

  • Treating active acne by killing germs and acne-causing bacteria

  • Tattoo removal

  • Treating broken blood vessels/capillaries/spider veins

How is the plasma pen treatment performed?

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied half an hour before the treatment. While the treatment is relatively pain-free, sublimation does result in a smell similar to burnt hair.
For stubborn areas where the skin is particularly loose, more than one treatment could be beneficial.

What can I expect after the treatment?

You will be swollen for about 2 days post treatment and small crusts may appear, lasting 7-14 days. These scabs will fall off naturally so do not pick them. Once the crusts have fallen off, there will be mild redness for about one month.
It’s important not to scratch or pick at the skin during this time, to prevent infection, pigmentation or scarring.

We do not advise the application of make up whilst the crusts are present- for one, the make up could cause irritation and introduce bacteria into the delicate skin and, for two, the removal of the make up could interfere with the healing process of the crusts.

Full aftercare advice will be given to you before you leave the clinic.

When will I see results?

There will be some initial, superficial results which are apparent immediately. The skin will appear tighter and some lines will be diminished. The next stage of results should be visible after about 2-4 weeks and they will continue to improve as new collagen fibres are formed at about the 3 month mark.
It is important to note that the Plasma Pen treatment will not stop the onset of further ageing. Factors such as smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, poor diet and sun damage can all contribute to further ageing of the skin.
Results are expected to last 2-3 years, and the treatments can be repeated.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of sessions needed to get the best results will depend on the severity of the loose skin. One treatment is generally enough to see improvements in most people but it will depend on the skin quality, severity of wrinkles and the client’s expectation.
A follow up is made at 3 months as it can take up to 3 months  for the new collagen fibers to form. It is at this stage that a second or even third treatment can be undertaken to achieve the desired outcome.
Results can last about 2-3 years.

What are the complications with the plasma pen treatment?

The treatment is very safe, however, on rare occasions, you can get skin hypo-pigmentation (whitening) or  hyperpigmentation (dark patches- generally more common in darker skins).
Because of the risk of pigmentation issues, we do not advise anyone with a darker skin type to have this treatment.
In patients with lighter skin, you can get persisting redness for a couple of months after the procedure.
